Ten things on which the budget bride should not spend money.

1.  Personalised paper napkins (will anyone  notice?)

2.  A table magician - people will be too busy gossiping to pay attention

3.  Hire of Matching thrones - Posh and Becks have a lot to answer for!

4.  Releasing doves - they have even more to answer for!

5.  The most expensive menu option - will people realise that smoked salmon and lamb costs £10 a head more than pate and chicken?  I don't think so!

6.  Ice sculptures. Very pretty but how much! It will be a puddle tomorrow!

7. A Master of Ceremonies - get your uncle to do it.

8.  Fireworks.  You need a spend an awful lot of money to get a good display and it will be a washout if it rains.

9.  A special quill effect pen for signing the register - most brides are so nervous they can hardly write their name by this stage without trying to hold one of these.
